This plant stays fairly small (6"-12"+ tall) and has excellent drought and cold tolerance, though prefers some sun protection. As the stems develop, they increasingly resemble wobbly, whimsical worm-like columns, and may go pendent, making the plant a neat choice for a hanging basket. The small star-shaped flowers are white.
